THE STORY: Located a stone’s throw from Le Bal Blomet, where Josephine Baker, Mistinguett, Joan Miró and Robert Desnos came to slum it during the Roaring 20s, the Hôtel Eiffel Blomet opened its doors in 2017. Behind its chic, sober façade, the rooms have a slick aesthetic (pastel tones, grainy leather headboards, rosewood nightstands and wardrobes, Pierre Frey carpeting, bronze lamps…), paying homage to art deco style without being over kill. As a bonus, there’s a really cozy honesty bar and a beautiful indoor heated pool that’s 14 meters long. Double rooms starting at €115 a night.

INTERNET: Wifi (free)
BREAKFAST: €15, buffet style, with coffee or tea, fresh fruit juices, bread, viennoiseries, brioche, fromage blanc, yogurt, cheese, charcuterie, fresh fruit, apple compote, boiled or scrambled eggs, sausage, bacon.
MINI-BAR: Yes, with sparkling water, Champagne, beer, soda, fruit juice and snacks. Plus, each room comes equipped with a Nespresso coffee machine and an electric teapot with Kusmi Tea.
LITTLE LUXURY: Chill out on the private terraces of one of the nine suites, seated on wicker furniture that’s been varnished like at a Parisian bistro, with potted plants and a breathtaking view of the capital.
