THE STORY: Tucked away in the Saint-Lambert neighborhood of Paris’s 15th arrondissement, the Hôtel Ami is the latest member of the Orso family – to whom we owe the Rochechouart, Doisy and Léopold hotels. Opened for the first time in 1925, this former postal worker hotel was given a beautiful makeover by the Danish designer Gesa Hansen. Behind the Art Deco façade, you’ll discover forty-some bedrooms with friendly names like “Petite amie” (tiny but pretty), “Bonne amie” (a great spot for traveling with friends), or even “Amie de famille” (located on the top floor), all dressed in pale pink, cream or powder green tones, cleverly furnished (cubic desks, practical wardrobes, big mirrors…) and equipped with pretty tiled bathrooms. Once you’re settled in, you can explore the hotel’s rather unusual common areas: a small terrace, a discreet patio or a kid-friendly lobby, depending on what you’re in the mood for! It’s the perfect spot for a stylish weekend getaway with friends! Double rooms starting at €99 a night.

BREAKFAST: Included, with coffee, tea, bread, jams, viennoiseries, fresh fruit, granola… All sourced from small producers.
